Why the actual power consumption is less than it's nominal power?
Our COB integrated LED grow light adopts 3W chips, it is known to all that although 3W led chip can reach the electric current limit as high as 700mA, but authoritative test proved that optimum luminous efficiency is available when electric current reaches 550mA, thus 700mA not only wastes more power energy, but also do not generate more lights which is conducive to the growth of plant; We use power supply (PF=0.98) of high efficiency, it consumes much less power, thus the actual power consumption of our LED grow light is much lower, however, it won't put any side effect on the luminous efficiency and high output of Par value, and it is applicable to all our COB series LED grow lights.
Does this light emit much heat?
1- LEDs are the most efficient lights nowadays; they produce so little heat that you can actually let the plant touch the light (although it's not recommended - as you will reduce the size of your growing area). Any heat produced by the unit is absorbed by the heat sink and dissipated by the fans in the rear of the light.
2-Unlike some LED grow light with poor design of heat sinking, the maximum heat generated by our LED grow light is less than 45 degree, much less than normal led grow light.
